Capturing Stories of the Untold

Nia Rae Lambert, known as Nia Rae, is a filmmaker and documentary photographer who aims to tell stories of the untold. She is dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of storytelling to illuminate the unseen and amplify marginalized voices. Her work reflects her belief that visual media can challenge perceptions, spark meaningful dialogue, and foster empathy.
Rooted in her identity as a Black, queer, neurodivergent woman, Nia Rae’s artistry explores authenticity and complexity, seamlessly bridging universal themes. Through her lens and the stories she produces, she strives to craft narratives that not only captivate audiences but also inspire change. Nia’s work celebrates the resilience of underrepresented communities, offering a platform for their stories to be told, valued, and remembered.
She has been recognized for her work by being a Dreamworks HBCU Launch Fellow, accepted into the Weiden and Kennedy AdMagic Class of 2025, awarded the Bronzelens Film Festival Creator Scholarship, and participated in local film festivals in Atlanta and Chicago.
